As part of Luther’s 125th Birthday, our quasiquicentennial, a parade is scheduled on Saturday, April 8, 2023, followed by the dedication of Luther Route 66 DiscGolfPark!
FOUNDERS’ DAY PARADE | SATURDAY | APRIL 8 | 5 PM
JOIN THE PARADE! Organizations, alumni, businesses, families, clubs, congregations, sports teams, first responders, public officials and elected leaders are all invited to take part in celebrating Luther’s history! Locate your tractor-pulled trailers, horse-drawn wagons, classic cars, motorcycles, bicycles, convertibles, or plan to walk together along the parade route that will start at Luther Middle School and come down Main Street. All are welcome. With 125 years of history to honor, we can’t wait to see your costumes, and themes.
NEW! ANNOUNCEMENT! The new Luther Route 66 DiscGolfPark Ribbon Cutting Celebration is scheduled after the parade. The parade will end at Luther’s newest attraction, inside Wildhorse Park, a few blocks from Main Street. Festivities including food, games, music and fun are planned for this long-awaited tournament level disc golf course.
