If we build L’Whotherville for the holidays, they will come!
What is it? L’Whotherville is a community-wide effort to build a holiday scene at Veterans Memorial Park right on Luther’s Main Street. Adjoining towns on Route 66 will join in the holiday effort with special displays on nearly 100 miles of Route 66 between Edmond and Sapulpa.
Luther needs you! Planning and designing are underway to build L’Whotherville during before the Luther Pecan Festival, Nov. 18-19, 2023. L’Whotherville will be lit on Nov. 18 at 5 PM during the Luther Pecan Festival.
Other L’Whotherville events will be announced throughout the season, including the annual Luther Parks Commission carriage rides and carols event on Dec. 1, 2023. Let us know if your business, organization, or group wants to host a festive evening during the season.
Please fill out the form below to help with the 2023 first-ever “L’Whotherville!” This project needs all hands on deck – whether you can help a little or a lot. Designing, painting cutout structures, stringing lights, marketing, hosting evening evenings, singing, or making hot chocolate – many hands make fun work!
Signing up will put you in the database for emails, meetings, announcements, and sharing information!
Funds needed, to support the project financially, please send an email to reception@townoflutherok.com or call 405-277-3833.
